Not at all. This is your opportunity to gain skills and knowledge from other members while carrying out meaningful activities, or you can just hang out and enjoy the company.
Can I come and have a look before joining?
Of course. You are invited to come along and have a cuppa. See what we are working on and meet the blokes. You can then decide if it is the place for you.
Is The Men’s Shed only for older men?
No. The involvement of younger men is very important and encouraged. It is important that skills are passed on to younger generations and they can provide a new direction and outlook for others.
Can I work on my own project?
Yes. You are welcome to work on your own projects at your own pace. The Men’s Shed provides the venue and support to assist you.
